Simple life- thomass

i believe i live a very simple life. i got a wonderful girlfriend, friends, and family. there is nothing i wouldnt do for them. God made me for a reason and i dont know what that is yet but i believe its help as many people as i can. i enjoy helping people out it makes me a better person. i never ask for money and depending on who it is i tell them to keep. i live in a normal house and drive a camouflage truck. i go to a public school and dont like some people cause there annoying as hell but think there cool. i dont hate any race only people who try to be gangsters and try to be all hard. im not a fighter unless i have. id rather fight for someone else than for myself. im not the smartest in my class but school is still easy. there is no reason to drop out of high school people that do are just stupid. i like working on cars and doing things with my hands. i learn better that way. i dont go and party. The more friends you have the more trouble you get into. I have been through a lot of stuff and that's what makes me who I am.

fourth of july -thomas

Every Fourth of July I go and probably spend at least 200 dollars on fireworks but, most of that goes to sparklers and electrical tape. You see what you do is you get about 30 to 60 sparklers and make it into a big cylinder shape and pull one out from the center this is your fuse. Then you press them as tightly together as you can then start wrapping tape around it and I mean lots of tape. I normally use an entire roll at once. It’s smarter and safer to stick it in a container or set it down to light this sparkler bomb. I stuck mine in an old metal gas can that was empty. I lit the center one and ran like hell. It blew the can apart and put metal shrapnel an inch into trees. Than we found an old freezer that was full of buzzards. Now buzzards are big birds and they smell of rotting flesh. We threw one in the freezer and blew them apart. That was the worst smell id ever smelt. Later on these guys came in and we pulled a prank on them and told them cops were coming because they were blowing up fireworks that shoot into sky. Than we passed they guys on the highway going a hundred miles an hour. That was one of the best Fourth of Julys I've had.

Everythings funner in the grasslands -thomas

Out in Decatur there is a place that is over 20,000 square acres and it’s called the L.B.J. national grasslands. I have been going there ever since I was a little kid. Now there are lots of rules to like no fireworks and no target shooting, but I’m not aiming at anything so I’d say I’m not target shooting. Every place that you’ll go out there is unique. There are lots of lakes and lots of camping spots and the best ones you’re not supposed to drive to but we do anyways. Now when you go camping there are a couple things you need to be warm and comfortable; blow torch, hatchet, shotgun, shotgun shells by the butt load, shovel, fishing poles, truck, blankets, food and drinks, pocket knives, and a GPS device for those moments when you’re lost. Now its two o’clock in the f*****g morning and were shooting shotguns.

What Is A Hero?-Taylor

What is a hero to you? To me a hero is someone that you admire or look up to. A hero is the one you turn to for help. I know I may not have always been there when my family has needed me. It takes a lot to look at someone you love that is your hero and see them on their death bed. Its hard to have a conversation with them without crying. There's many things that are a daily part of life. It's difficult to let one go when it is their time. Many people haven't experienced this before.
My hero is my great grandfather who we refer to as Papa. He served in the Navy during World War II only because when Japan bombed Pearl Harbor it made him mad enough to want to fight against them. As a kid he never really told me what he did in the Navy. One of the last times I saw him we sat down and he told me exactly everything that happened during his Navy life beginning with the day Pearl Harbor was bombed. It was a very good and long story. His story has pursued me to want to continue my thoughts of joining the Navy.
When the day comes don't be afraid to let the hero's in your life go. For everyone has their time. Don't beg for the survival of them but beg for the taking of them with no pain or suffering. Its a difficult thing to do when you see a loved one lying and they cant do much but moan and have slight conversations. It can and will bring tears to anyone's eyes. Everyone goes through this situation some more then others. Just remember they didn't do anything wrong , but they did everything right that their duty as a man or a women is done and it is their time now so don't hold on. ----Taylor

Mudding-Taylor

Have you ever been mudding? No not on a four-wheeler or a dirt-bike but in a truck? I used to drive a 96 Chevy Z71. Everytime I would go throw a mud hole something would break. It all started with my transmission and later went to a hole in my oil filter, bad fuel injecters, messed up o2 sensors. Everytime I fixed something I would go break something else. Just the other day I was mudding when suddenly my oil pump went out and my engine was trashed. Now if you do something wrong enough times theres a point where you learn not to do that anymore. Many things can go wrong while in the process of mudding; mudding puts a lot of stress on the engine and all the other mechanical part. I went mudding the other day and I blew my entire engine meaning I put stress to motor enough that it just stopped. THis is what happened to me. -Taylor               http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p3j2EqvGbNg       "Ford Mud Truck Blows Motor." YouTube. YouTube, 01 Aug. 2010. Web. 07 May 2014.

Pigs and Mud-Thomas

Have you ever been woken up by a cop with his gun drawn? Well we have. It was sometime in January we fell asleep in the truck after going mudding our buddy Sam was already asleep in the backseat under some blankets. We woke the first time at 6 to start the truck and heat it up than we went back to sleep. Than the second time I woke up to the officer saying “let me see your hands son”. This time it was about 7:30. He had us all climb out the truck all I had on was my jeans and my shirt and it was a cold morning.  He asked all three of us for our driver’s licenses. By that time his partner had shown up asked us what we were doing. They searched the truck and asked us if we smoked marijuana we said no than he asked what’s this pipe for than. He pulled out an electronic cigarette and I had to explain to him what it was for.  They then found 6 pockets knives 3 packs of cigarettes and a kitchen paring knife. They also found a bunch of blankets in the truck but we explained to them that taytor always kept blankets in his truck. The second time we got woken up by cops it was because we were stuck in a creek the back end sunk all the way into the mud. We got stuck around midnight and stayed awake till about 5 o’clock in the morning trying to dig out the truck. We finally had enough so we went to sleep. We woke up twice this time as well and the second time we woke up it was to a cop telling us to get up.  The cop said that the construction workers would pull us out if but they weren’t going to be responsible for the damages. As we were standing there this big Mexican worker look down at us from the bridge and said what happen to much tequila. They brought down a tractor and pulled us out and let us go on our way. Life Lesson-Thomas

There is a lot of things people take for granted. When everything is handed to you you lose sight in the value of working hard to earn it. I understand my dad now after replacing the front end of my truck without that much help. It's hard work that makes you better person. I used to treat my truck like crap and wouldn't be scared of putting a dent in the body, but after all that work i don't want to drive like a bat out of hell. I would rather work for something than to get it free, you'll appreciate it I'm the long run. With how my younger generation is turning out there going to be up for a rude awakening when their future bosses fire them for being lazy. The older generation has honestly done a lot more make their lives successful and no one can take that from them. I see people tearing all kinds of things up because their parents spoil them and they don't have to worry about paying for it themselves. I admit that my parents have done a lot for me and I personally believe it was to much but I'm glad they did but in the end I will find a way to pay them back when I can. It's coming to the point that  we Arnt going to have workers here in America and everyone will complain saying the immagrants took all our jobs, but in all reality it's actually us the Americans who have become to lazy to do these jobs. We  need to change our ways or it's just going to get worse. You can't buy everything with money like a seeing amazing sights in the grass lands or watching the sunrise over the mountains surrounding palo pinto lake. I believe I'm blessed to be living the way I am I don't need anything else besides a good friend a truck and  gas to make me happy ---- thomas
